Five care providers who have a day job - with varying degrees of success - collecting patient information, so in the end five diagnoses with blind spots, five treatments, five hours of administration. That's five times a bucket full of wasted time and energy throughout the system, five times just barely.

Despite all good intentions and efforts, a variety of closed and fragmented systems, different standards, different definitions and compartmentalization make our healthcare system unnecessarily complex. With extreme regulatory pressure as a result, the health of our society is endangered.

This can be different. This has to be different.

Everywhere we look we see institutions that want to, but are technically unable to. Researchers who want nothing more than to share their results with other scientists. We see doctors eager to exchange information with colleagues, but don't know how, and talk to patients who are more than happy to share their medical history, if it gives them better care.
